Our Organization
The Haitian American Martial Arts Network (HAMANET) is a non-profit organization founded on April 22, 2006 by a group of respectful, honest, intelligent and hard working Haitian-Americans who constitute the members of the Board of the organization. HAMANET encourages the publc to become members and does not discriminate individuals on any basis whatsoever whether race, creed, color, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
History
Over tewnty-five (25) years ago, the founders of HAMANET came to the United States with a vision of hope and the desire to accomplish the American dream. Part of that dream was to persevere in spite of obstacles or opposition. The dream has been fulfilled and we are and remain the leaders in Martial Arts collectively, since the early 1960's.
Our Mission And Vision
Martial Arts is a form of self defense that teaches discipline, builds self esteem, confidence and respect for others. Our mission is to educate our community in a path of self-respect through Martial Arts. Our continued success emanate from our commitment in following this path of discipline, responsibility and leadership. We are focusing strongly on the education of our children and being true role models with exceeding expectations.
The HAMANET goal is to leave a legacy for our youth and all other participants with the conviction that prosperity comes in many forms through hard work, determination, dedication, guidance and a sense of purpose in life.
